Techniques expertise

According to the collections and the different styles, furniture made in order to observe traditions must combine the following techniques :

Drawers with dovetail joints	Traditional mortice and tenon joints for the frames
Traditional rail and stile joints for the doors	Shelves on wooden brackets

Oak is a living matter, its characteristic texture and aspect make each piece of furniture unique.

Solid oak when used to make furniture has 3 particular textures in addition to the natural knots :

	Wood grain : no variations and quite uniform
	Flat grain : the wood grainings are more pronounced and bring out the oak's properties
	Mesh : small natural "marks" which bring a rich wood texture to your furniture
